We will consider the systematic delivery of strategies that meet the criteria listed below. While our current focus is the systematization of our hedge fund strategies, we are continuously exploring this approach in other areas as well.

• Diversification – is it relatively un-correlated with other risks in our portfolio and in investor portfolios? Do we understand good/bad environments for the strategy and how it may interact with other assets or strategies within a portfolio?
• Experience – or what we call our “practitioners lens”
• Edge – via proprietary data, technology, network
• Persistence – belief that the premia or structural/behavioral anomalies may continue to persist
• Intuition – does what we are doing make sense?
• Extraction – conviction that we can efficiently extract the return streams associated with the strategy
