Devin Dallaire is Head of Products for Magnetar’s Systematic Investing group where he leads the business’ research efforts in addition to serving as a Portfolio Manager for various business-specific funds. With more than 25 years of experience in quantitative research and investments, Devin also leads the Systematic Multi-Strategy Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Magnetar in 2010, Devin was a senior investment researcher at Bridgewater Associates, where he was responsible for researching and developing risk management and portfolio construction strategies for the company’s Pure Alpha Fund. Previously, he was the Head of Risk Management and Quantitative Research at Third Point Management. From 2001 through 2006, he led global equity quantitative research at Citadel Investment Group. Devin started his career in 1994 at Stafford Trading where he was the Head of Quantitative Research.
Devin has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Chicago and has completed coursework and exams towards a Ph.D. in Econometrics at the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.
