Hayley Stein
Chief Compliance Officer, Alternative Credit and Fixed Income and Liquid Strategies
Hayley Stein serves as Chief Compliance Officer for the firm’s Alternative Credit and Fixed Income and Liquid Strategies businesses. In this capacity, she is responsible for overseeing compliance and various regulatory matters across the firm. Hayley works closely with the firm’s business units and teams to ensure Magnetar maintains the highest standard of compliance.
Before joining Magnetar in 2022, Hayley was General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer of ITE Management. Prior to that role, Hayley spent 13 years at The Blackstone Group where she was a Managing Director and served as Chief Compliance Officer of the Hedge Fund Solutions Group. Before joining Blackstone in 2005, Hayley was an Associate at the law firm Dechert LLP.
Hayley earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Barnard College.
