Nate Raschke
Head of Portfolio Finance, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Alternative Credit and Fixed Income
Nate Raschke serves as Head of Portfolio Finance at Magnetar in addition to his role as Deputy Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) for Magnetar’s Alternative Credit and Fixed Income (“ACFI”) business. As the Head of Portfolio Finance, Nate oversees the firm’s broader financing operations, including treasury management, negotiation of credit and equity financing facilities, counterparty exposure and risk, and counterparty relationship management. In his role as Deputy COO of ACFI, he assists with a variety of business enhancement initiatives and works closely with the firm’s Finance, Operations, Compliance, IT and Risk Management functions. His responsibilities include oversight of the ACFI Reporting & Data Analysis team which is focused on strategic reporting and data management initiatives for the firm. Nate also serves as a member of the Asset Diligence team, which is responsible for pre- and post-close diligence on Magnetar portfolio companies.
Nate joined Magnetar in the firm’s Fund Accounting group in 2007. Since then, he has advanced to serve in a variety of operational and investment-related roles across the firm where his responsibilities and areas of oversight have included desk operations, trade execution, structured product analysis, investor reporting and business support.
Nate earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the Booth School of Business of the University of Chicago and received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.
