SCI CRT Awards Disclosure

The 2024 Structured Credit Investor (SCI) Capital Relief Trade Awards recognize excellence in the credit risk-sharing industry, specifically covering the global capital relief trades market and the US credit risk transfer market for the period July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. The winner was announced on October 17, 2024 for the “Investor of the Year” category.

The SCI editorial team and industry advisory board reviewed nominations to determine the shortlist for each category. Winners were then determined by the SCI editorial team based on award submissions, color from the market, and independent research they conducted. Award submissions included a written entry highlighting the manager’s achievements during the qualifying period as well as the manager’s expertise in the strategy and future initiatives. Awards were based on information provided by Magnetar and other third party sources that may not have been independently verified by SCI.

The award is not indicative of the future performance of Magnetar’s SRT strategy. Magnetar did not pay to participate or receive the award; however, Magnetar did pay for a table at the award ceremony held on October 17, 2024.
